Renowned theatre, movie artiste Usha Bhandary chosen for Nataka Academy Award

Mangaluru: Renowned theatre and film artiste Usha Bhandari from Mangaluru has been chosen for the Nataka Academy Award for the year 2018. She is one among the 24 achievers chosen for the prestigious award.
She has been trained in the theatrical field from Neenasam at Heggodu and has created a niche for herself through her acting skills in plays, small screen as well as the silver screen.
Usha Bhandary is from Thokkottu and is a BSc degree holder from St Agnes College in Mangaluru. She has acted in over 20 movies including Nakkalaa Rajakumari, Devara Kadu, Beladingala Baale, Ondu Muttina Kathe, Edakallu Guddada Mele, Madime and Appe Teacher.
Oriyardori Asal, Devu Poonja, Mande Balipuji and Kusalda Parabe are some of the popular plays in which she had a role.
