Bengaluru: Prestige Clean Home, TTK Prestige’s home cleaning brand, today distributed water purifiers to two government schools, thus ensuring that over 400 school students along with 40 teachers get access to clean drinking water. The principals of Government Urdu High School and Government Kannada Primary School were today presented with the water purifiers by Mr. Dinesh Garg, Executive Vice President of TTK Prestige at a ceremony held in Bengaluru today.

The water purifiers run without electricity and is said to kill 99.9 percent of bacteria, viruses and cysts, thus protecting the health of students and teachers.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Garg said, “Clean drinking water is a basic necessity for all human beings, which is sadly lacking in many schools in India. Thus, we are pleased to present our cutting-edge water purifiers to enable students and teachers to have access to clean and pure drinking water within the school premises. We hope that this initiative will help reduce children from falling ill with waterborne diseases. The water purifiers will also ensure that students and teachers don’t have to queue in front of a single tap, which will save a lot of time.’’

In a similar initiative last year, Prestige Clean Home distributed water purifiers to four government schools in Bengaluru, which benefitted over 350 students and 40 teachers.
