Satish Jarkiholi should become CM once: Siddu

Bagalkot: Former chief minister and Congress-JDS coalition government coordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah on Wednesday, December 19 said that he wants former minister Satish Jarkiholi to become the chief minister of the state once.

Addressing presspersons here at Valmiki Jayanti programme Siddaramaiah said that he strongly wants Satish Jarkiholi to become the chief minister state once so that he gets to show his potential to the people of the state.

He further quoting Dr B R Ambedkar’s statement said that he has pulled the chariot of social justice so far with great difficulty and if it is possible for others to draw the chariot further let them draw it and if not possible, leave it where it is instead of pulling the chariot back.

Reacting to Siddaramaiah’s statement Satish Jarkiholi said “One has to wait for for the right time to become the CM and I will wait till it’s time for me to become the CM.”

He further spoke about the cabinet expansion and said that Cabinet expansion is fixed on December 22 and he is not the aspirant for minister post its his supporters who have demanded minister him and it is left to the party high command to give him a ministerial post or not.

He further added that the prediction of the Opposition party that the coalition government will collapse after Cabinet expansion is false.
