Bengaluru/ New Delhi: Karnataka Congress legislatute party leader Siddaramiah, Deputy CM G Parameshwara, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and KPCC working president Eshwar Khandre are expected to head to New Delhi on Thursday, December 20, to meet KC Venugopal, AICC general secretary in-charge of Karnataka to hold talks on the cabinet expansion. Their meeting will be followed up with a meeting with AICC president Rahul Gandhi regarding the same.
The Congress party has assured the legislators that it would either expand or reshuffle the cabinet or do both in the coming days. But, due to the coalition in the state, some Congress leaders believe that the cabinet expansion would not take place until the Lok sabha polls.
MTB Nagaraju, MB Patil, HM Ravanna, CS Shivalli, HK Patil and few other have already camped in Delhi to confirm their ministerial berths based on the party’s assurance of cabinet expansion.
