ED seeks details of vehicles owned by Brajesh Thakur

Muzaffarpur: The Enforcement Directorate has sought from District Transport Office (DTO) here the details of vehicles purchased and registered in the name of Brajesh Thakur, prime accused in the shelter home sex scandal, and his family members, officials said on Friday.
ED’s Assistant Director, Patna, Praveen Kumar Jha has written a letter to Muzaffarpur DTO on December 27, requesting him to furnish the details of vehicles purchased/registered by Brajesh Thakur and his family in connection with the investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 being carried out against the sex scandal prime accused.
Muzaffarpur DTO Nazir Ahmad confirmed it saying that he has received a letter asking him to give details of vehicles owned by Brajesh Thakur and his family members.
The report would be submitted to the ED after preparing the same, Ahmad said.
The ED has also sought details of vehicles registered in the name of Asha Devi, wife of Brajesh Thakur and his son (Rahul Anand) and his daughter (Nikita Anand).
It may be noted that ED has already interrogated Brajesh Thakur’s son and his wife on December 24 and 26 at its Patna office with regard to the asset details.
