DKShi demands probe into Madhukar Shetty’s death

Bengaluru: Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday condoled the death of Madhukar Shetty and demanded that the death of senior IPS officer Madhukar Shetty should be investigated.

The minister also said that the death of Madhukar Shetty is a great loss to the police department.

It is gathered that the mortal remains of Madhukar Shetty has been brought to Bengaluru from Hyderabad and his body has been kept for public viewing at Police Training Institute, Yelahanka. 

Later at 8 pm, the officer’s body will be brought down to Mangaluru, from where it would be taken to his native place Yadadi in Kundapura taluk. The cremation would be held at Yadadi on Sunday, December 30 morning.
