Son cuts mother’s hand after she refuses to give him money

Sakaleshpura: In a shocking incident a person cut the right hand of his mother after she denied to give him money on Friday, December 28 near Edavarahalli in the taluk.

The victim is Lalithamma (60) and the accused is her son Dilip (40).

It is gathered that, Dilip in an inebriated condition came home and demanded money from his mother, but Lalithamma refused to give him money, angered by this he attacked his mother with a sickle and cut her right hand and the fingers of her left arm. She was rushed to the district hospital and is undergoing treatment.

The Yasalur police nabbed Dilip after a complaint was lodged against him.
