Car hits electric pole after tyre burst at Suratkal

Mangaluru: A Pajero sports car rammed into an electric pole and jumped the median onto the other side of the highway following a tyre burst here at Tadambail, Suratkal, on Tuesday January 1.
The car, being driven by a person named Hameed was on its way to Udupi when the mishap took place. While Hameed escaped unhurt, the other two occupants of the car identified as Mahesh and Ismail sustained minor injuries. The front portion of the car was damaged in the mishap.
