Puttur: In a case in which the operator of a Hitachi vehicle which was being carried by a lorry died due to electric shock as the vehicle being carried came in touch with high tension cables, the accused driver of the lorry identified as Sitarama, a resident of Hirebandadi Nehrutota has been sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment with a fine of Rs 1,000 by the Puttur Court.
This incident took place on June 8th 2018 and the victim is identified as Jatin Kumar (22), a resident of Keremaru in Ariyadka village. Aropadadi Puttur traffic police registered a case of negligence against the lorry driver Sitaram and submitted the chagesheet to the Court.
Public prosecutor Devendra D argued in favour of the prosecution.
