Lorry-motorbike accident claims rider’s life

Gangolli: A youth died after a speeding lorry rammed into his bike from the rear at Jamia Mohalla on Gangolli Main Road on Wednesday, Jan 2. The deceased is identified as Gururaj Poojary (28) of Gangolli Dakahitlu. He was employed at a hotel in Bengaluru and was in hometown on a ten day leave.

The deceased was on his way to Gangolli from Trasi when fate struck. The seriously injured Gururaj was rushed to a private hospital in Kundapur where he failed to respond to the given treatment and succumbed to his injuries.

A case in this connection has been registered with Gangolli Police.
