Love affair: Gang murders youth at Panjimogaru

Kavoor: A youth has murdered by a gang over an alleged love affair at Panjimogaru in city on Thursday night, January 3. The victim is identified as Rakesh (24)

Apparently, Rakesh was allegedly having a love affair which came to the notice of the girl’s elder brother. Angered by the news, the brother hacked a plan to kill Rakesh and asked the victim top meet him at a certain place since he wanted to talk to him regarding the affair.

The Act

After finishing his work Rakesh reached the pre-decided location when the girl’s brother along with a gang attacked him with machetes, claiming his delivering serious injuries that claimed his life and fled. 

A case has been registered with Kavoor police. Police dog squad, Police commissioner and DCP have visited the location.
