Holiday for schools and colleges in DK, Udupi

Mangaluru: In view of the Bharat bandh call, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district, Sasikanth Senthil and Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district Priyanka Mary Francis declared a holiday for schools and colleges on Tuesday, January 8.
While most associations have extended their support for the bandh, private bus operators from both the districts said that they will continue to operate their buses as usual.
