Mangaluru: “By spreading false news through some media stating that a few pro Hindutva leaders in Dakshina Kannada district are facing a death threat, once again attempt is being made to win the Lok Sabha election easily by making the Hindu voter angry,” alleged SDPI.
During every election, BJP unleashes the false news of the fear of a death threat. But, when the police investigate on this threat and try to find out from where the threat came or who is responsible for it, no definite information is available.
On the occasion when muslim leaders get a direct threat and when a complaint in this connection is given to the higher police officials no action is taken, but it is definitely a disaster that on the government’s expense protection is being given to the criminal leaders of the Sangh Parivar. SDPI condemns this method of hunting muslim youth using a false news, it said.
Let the police department conduct a special inquiry regarding the credibility of this news and bring out the truth to the people. The police must work to bring this case to a logical conclusion. At the same time, the people need not spoil their heads regarding the false news and instead try to maintain the peace in the district, stated SDPI district president Ataullah Jokatte in a press release.
