Bejai: After a car ran over them, two flower vendors sleeping on the pavement near Bharath Mall at Bejai in the city suffered grievous injuries.
The city is witnessing an emergence of a large number of flower vendors hoping to do brisk business on account of Sankranti festival. Hence, the flower vendors were sleeping on the footpath at night when a car coming from KPT side ran over them causing serious injuries.
The injured have been rushed to a hospital and are being treated for their critical injuries.
