No lead on missing fishermen

Malpe: Though a month has passed since the deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ went missing along with its crew of 7 fishermen, no credible lead has yet been found. This has only instilled fear amongst the families of the missing fishermen and the general public. An operation was conducted within 12 nautical miles along the coasts of Maharashtra and Goa by the Indian Navy to determine if the trawler might have sunk. But no clue was available.

A month since mobile connection was lost

On Jan 15th, it will be a month since the mobile connection with the missing fishermen was lost. The deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ left Malpe fisheries port on Dec 15th and late in the night of the same day at around 1 am, all contact with the boat was lost. There has been no credible clue on the mysterious disappearance of the boat along with it crew. There are only suspicions. There is suspicion that the crew might have been kidnapped, but it’s unclear if they have been kidnapped by terrorists or pirates. Also there is suspicion the boat might have sunk. But, there has been no proof corroborating any suspicion as of yet.
