Rider dies, two injured in a bus-scooter accident

Karkala: A youth died in an accident involving a scooter and a bus here on Wednesday, January 16. Two pillion riders have also been injured in the collision.
The deceased scooter rider is identified as Dinesh (26) from Kukkundoor. The injured are identified as Murugesh and Velu.
According to witnesses, the scooter rider was attempting to overtake a vehicle when he collided with the KSRTC bus coming from the opposite direction. The KSRTC bus was on its way to Udupi from Karkala.
