Man from Kunjathur missing in Kuwait since Jan 14th

Kuwait/Talapady: A native of Kunjathur near Talapady, who was running his own business in Kuwait, has gone missing from his residence at Mehboula here since Monday, January 14. The missing person is identified as Vishal Kumar Madhava Salian.
Mr Salian was residing at Mehboula and was running a real estate business. He was a familiar face in Tulu and Kannada community in Kuwait and had good contacts with various business personalities in Kuwait.
According to sources, on Monday morning, as Mr Salian was leaving his home for business purpose, his car failed to start due to a battery problem which was soon rectified with help from his friends and he carried on his way to his meetings. However, post his meetings he failed to return back home and also neither his friends nor family received any call from Mr Salian. His mobile remained switched off and his whereabouts remain a mystery.
Vishal’s family members and relatives contacted Kuwait police and submitted details regarding the missing person. They are also planning to meet the Indian Consulate with assistance from various associations.
