Bengaluru: Housing Minister, M.T.B. Nagaraj in an emotion filled voice said that if anyone slits open his chest, they will find Siddaramaiah there. he had a dream of becoming minister once, that dream was realized by none other than Siddaramaiah. Now thathe has accomplished his dream, he has decided to retire from politics once his tenure is over.
Supporters of former Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah virtually broke the coalition dharma launching an attack on JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda by stating that some in our country focus only on promoting their sons, daughters-in-law and grandsons but Mr Siddaramaiah promotes everyone who supports him.
Addressing the gathering at Kanaka Bhavan programme here on Sunday, January 27 Yeshwantpur MLA S.T. Somashekar praised Siddaramaiah saying that he should be the next CM. Setting the tone for this, Somashekar said, Siddaramaiah missed the post in the previous election by a whisker. Siddaramaiah is the only leader in the recent past who has helped every community including Vokkaliga and Lingayats.
I feel like crying whenever I hear how much Siddaramaiah borrowed to ensure the party’s victory in the last Assembly elections, he added
Those who call themselves ‘sons of the soil’ had not done anything for Vokkaligas, said Siddaramaiah’s loyalist H.M. Revanna.
