Malpe: 47 days have passed by since the deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ went missing mysteriously along with its crew of 7 fishermen. There has been no lead on what happened to the fishermen or where did the boat go? There is no clear information regarding the disappearance on neither the state nor the central level.

The navy ship continues its search and divers were requisitioned on Thursday. It is learnt that the divers dropped into the water to a depth of 35 meters and attempted to conduct search but soon returned to the surface due to the darkness in the water at that depth.

Ready for a fight

The anger within the fishermen in increasing by the day and no proper information is being provided by neither the government nor the officials. If no proper information is provided within a week, protests will be conducted by blocking the national highway, warned the fishermen.

Devi’s advice

During the ‘Devi’s Darshana’ held at Ambalapady temple, the Devi predicted that all the missing fishermen have been imprisoned somewhere and she will give a clue in three weeks’ time, informed the family members of the missing fishermen.
