Corporation Bank branch at Muloor catches fire

Kaup: Corporation Bank branch at Muloor at the Panchami Complex located near here caught fire and suffered damages on Tuesday night February 5. Apparently, the computers and other furniture in the bank’s branch have been gutted.

The fire was first observed by the locals who immediately informed the police and due to their presence of mind, a major disaster was missed. The fire personnel arrived to the location immediately and attempted to douse the fire. For some time the situation was tense, but eventually the fire was doused.

A short-circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire and the incident is being investigated by Kaup police.
