Hampi Utsava from March 2nd

Hosapete: The coalition government which has been postponing Hampi Utsava due to the reason of drought has finally decided to grandly celebrate Hampi Utsava on March 2nd and 3rd.
The official announcement of the date for Hampi Utsava will be done on Feb 7th at the preliminary meeting in this connection to be conducted under the leadership of Ballari District Commissioner Dr Ram Prasat Manohar at the hall of Ballari DC office. On this occasion, the district administration sent a circular to all concerned officials to compulsorily attend the meeting.
Amidst this the district administration has submitted a proposal of Rs 8 crore. But the government has released a total grant of only Rs 2.10 crore through Rs 1.50 crore on behalf of the tourism department and Rs 60 lakh on behalf of the Kannada and Culture department.
