Kota double murder: Two arrested

Kota: Senior police officials have informed that two persons have been arrested in connection to the double murder case that occurred at Manuru Chikkanakere on Jan 26th and assured that the remaining accused will also be nabbed soon.

The prime accused Rajashekhar Reddy and Ravi alias Medical Ravi were arrested on Thursday by the police at Madikeri , informed and clarified senior police officials.

Representative of the people arrested?

It is being said that a representative of the people has also been arrested and has been subjected to intensive interrogation. But the police have not yet clarified on that information.

Rajashekhar Reddy, Chandrashekhar Reddy and four other persons have been named as the accused in connection to the murder of Yatish Kanchan and Bharat Shriyan. The police have spread a net to catch the remaining accused in the case and are expected to be nabbed soon.

Names of influential people

The excuse that the murder took place in connection to a fight over septic pit is a diversion and now, some very different reports are making rounds. Also, names of some influential persons are also being heard in connection to the case.

A protest had been carried out by keeping the corpses of the deceased on the road demanding that the accused be arrested at the earliest. Besides on Feb 3rd, a Kota Bandh was also conducted in accordance to the calls given by various organizations.
