Mangaluru: The legal process required for the extradition of underworld element Ravi Poojary who is presently incarcerated in Senegal to India are progressing at a quick pace. Along with cases against him in Karavali, most cases in Karnataka are booked against him and hence there is a possibility that he may be first handed over to the state police after his extradition, inform reliable sources.
As per information from sources, Poojary is attempting all sorts of dramas to escape from there. It is being said that he has preparing to prove to the Court there that, “I am not Ravi Poojary; I am Antony Fernandes and have been doing business here since many years. The Indian embassy officials are telling lies.”
It is being said that the fingerprints and necessary documents have already been submitted to Senegal police and since they have tallied, there is no chance for escape.
