Bajpe: “Audio tape which was released, has to be probed and we are ready to cooperate if Prime Minister Narendra Modi orders probe into the same,” said chief minister H D Kumaraswamy speaking to media at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on his way Dharmasthala to attend Mahamastakabhishek. He was reacting to the audio tape released on Operation Lotus.
Responding to the query regarding the Speaker’s order to probe into audio clip Kumaraswamy answered, “There is nothing wrong in Speaker’s statement. When there is probe, then the truth will come out. In the audio clip there is mention about Speaker, Prime Minister, Amit Shah, High Court and Supreme Court, which has bought disgrace to our democracy. This was discussed by those who are in responsible position. Legal action should be taken against them.”
The audio tape had been released by HDK in which, BJP president Yeddyurappa allegedly offers bribe to lure a JD(S) MLA into his party.
