Kota double murder case: Bail application of 3 accused rejected

Kundapur: Judge Srikanth of the additional JMFC Court has rejected to give bail to the three bail applicants of the 16 accused in the double murder case that took place at Manoor in Kota. At the same time, police staff Pavan Amin has been remanded for 3 days for police custody.

The accused police staff Pavan Amin, Virendra Acharya and student Pranav Rao had applied for bail through their lawyer. The assistant public prosecutor Sumangala Nayak argued against the granting of bail to the accused.

Three remanded to custody

Of the arrested 16 accused, Chandrashekhar Reddy and Sujay have been remanded to police custody up till Feb 20th; police staff Pavan Amin has been remanded to police custody till Feb 22nd and the remaining accused have been remanded for judicial custody till March 1st.
