Ready to go to jail, will destroy tollgate if Pumpwell flyover not completed, warns MP Nalin

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who has often come under fire for the inordinate delay in completion of Pumpwell flyover, has warned the contractors that he would destroy the tollgate if they fail to complete the work before the meeting of ministry of road transport pertaining to highway problems.
Presiding over the Dakshina Kannada District Development Coordination and in-charge Committee meeting at Zilla Panchayat on Monday, February 25, Kateel said that contractors should make arrangements to facilitate smooth movement of vehicles at Pumpwell junction till the completion of flyover works or else he would destroy the toll gate. Either the contractor should go to jail or he would go to jail, he added.
Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil, Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr Selvamani and others were present.
