Workshop on Designer Drugs at MAHE

Manipal: Centre for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (CNPS) and Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Centre for Clinical Forensics will hold a one-day workshop on “Designer Drugs – Escalating Public Health Challenge” at KMC Interact lecture hall here on March 12, from 9 AM.
CNPS coordinator, Dr Shreekumar Menon said the workshop will discuss topics like; challenges of new and emerging drugs, drug analogues and novel substances – emerging trends and analytical challenges, Designer Drugs – chemical content and effects – poisonings and overdoses, recent trends in Designer Drugs abuse – a challenge for enforcement agencies and others.
