Sale of MDMA; youth arrested

Mangaluru: A youth was arrested by the CCB police on the charges of attempting to sell a banned drug called MDMA. The arrested person is identified as Muhammad Shafique (21), a resident of Chokkabettu.
The police also seized a mobile and 60 grams of the drug worth Rs 1.8 lakh.
The youth was arrested based on a tip off that the accused had bought the drug in Mumbai and was planning to sell it in Mangaluru. The accused has been handed over to Surathkal police for questioning.
