Children’s play equipment, outdoor gym inaugurated at Kadri Park

Mangaluru: the outdoor gymnasium, children’s play equipment and several other development works at Kadri Park here were inaugurated by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on Friday, March 1st.

The outdoor gym, walking track, and children play equipment development work at the park was done under the Amruth Scheme of the central government, state government and MCC at a total cost of Rs 1.16 crore.

MP Nalin spoke on the occasion and said, “Today, we have inaugurated several development works, and children’s play equipment at Kadri Park. This was a long pending demand as the equipment for the children at Kadri Park which were in a pathetic condition. It was necessary to scrap them and install new equipment along with an outdoor gym which will be useful for daily visitors to the park.”
