M’luru Smart City: Rs 130 crore plan approved

Mangaluru: Seven plans with a total budget od Rs 130 crore in connection to Mangaluru Smart City project was approved on Saturday March 2nd.

The approval for the Rs 130 crore worth works was provided at the Smart City Board of Directors meeting held at KPC Shakti Bhavan in Bengaluru. Including the construction underground drainage in old port area, road works, creation of smart school, all the 7 plans were accepted. The proposal for the creation of smart schools in selected areas of the city had been submitted during the smart city meeting. Discussions were held regarding the creation f a private bus terminal and Mulki level car parking through private partnership.

Bhaskar K, Premanand Shetty, Lancelot Pinto, Shashidhar Hegde, Rameeza Banu and Mohammed Nazeer were present at the meeting.
