Bengaluru: KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao on Saturday, March 2 said that right-wingers are chanting Jai Shri Ram slogans and killing people, just because they do not share our food habits.

Addressing Congress Party meeting here on Saturday, March 2 Gundu Rao said that the right-wing people are trying to disturb the social harmony of our country. While Pakistan stands for Islamic fundamentalism, the right-wing people want India to be a Hindu fanatic country, thus making our country a mirror image of Pakistan.

Jai Shri Ram was a slogan once used to unite the people but now the right-wingers are chanting Jai Shri Ram slogans and killing people, just because they do not share our food habits, he expressed.

The main aim of Congress party is to wash away all the ill-conceived design of Narendra Modi led government and make India a secular country and prove that we can live harmoniously in this country despite our food habits, he said.

Working president of KPCC, Eshwar Khandre, KPCC women wing President Dr Pushpa Amarnath, MLA Sowmya Reddy were also present at the meeting.
