Nothing wrong in post made by lecturer: MB Patil

Bengaluru: Defending lecturer of P.G. Halakatti Engineering College which falls under the BLDE, Home Minister M.B. Patil, who is also chairman of BLDE Institutions said that the lecturer had not posted any derogatory or anti-India statement in the post he had on social media.

Speaking on the issue M.B. Patil said that lecturer in his post said that war brings destruction and there is nothing wron in what he. Nothing anti-national in the post. 

 “Some slang used by him could be inappropriate. The college authorities, however, will examine and take suitable action,” he added.

ABVP members has taken the law into their hands and their action was nothing short of moral policing. he has asked the Superintendent of Police to take action against them, he informed.

On Saturday, March 2 ABVP member had asked the the lecturer to come to his knees and apologise for the post he had posted on his social media account. When the visibly scared lecturer came out, the protesters made him kneel and apologise for his mistake with folded hands. They even made him say that he would not indulge in any such act again.
