Tumakuru: A complaint has been filed against Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in Badavanahalli Police station over his remarks on the air strike carried out by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Pakistan.
Kumaraswamy had criticized BJP for distributing sweets and bursting crackers, warning it would escalate tension between two communities.
However, on Sunday, he clarified that on the day of the air strike by the IAF in Pakistan, the BJP people tried to give an impression that they themselves conducted the airstrikes and not the IAF, therefore he said that the BJP must understand it is important to maintain peace in the country.
Since India carried out airstrikes to take out terror camps belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan there has been a lot of political commentaries.
The Karnataka CM had earlier lashed out at BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa for his statement that the pre-emptive strike in Balakot would help the BJP win 22 seats in Karnataka.
