Mangaluru: In a bizarre case of robbery, burglars ended up stealing bedlinens, towels, footwear and even a lungi from a residence at Morgansgate here when the house owner was away in Bengaluru.
As per a complaint filed by Gilbert (house owner), with Mangaluru City South (Pandeshwar) police, the thieves made away with gold ornaments and cash valuing upto Rs two lakh. The complaint further mentioned that the thieves even stole bedlinens, towels, footwear etc.
A case has been registered in this regard.
