PU, SSLC results by end of April

Bengaluru: The department of primary and secondary education has decided to release the results early this year. The official sources informed that the PU results will be released within the first week of April and the SSLC results by end of April.

Addressing pressperson V Sumangala director Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) said that “As the Parliamentary elections are clashing with SSLC evaluation, it will be extended for three more days. However, we will complete the evaluation work two days after the second phase of elections and announce results by the end of April.” 

This year, the evaluation process for SSLC will completely be online, and for PUC it would be both manual and online, informed sources.

Usually, the results of the PU and SSLC is released in the month of May and students who are attempting for competitive examinations like Common Entrance Test (CET) and JEE exams used to find it difficult. But, this year even before the students can write the competitive exams, the second PU results will be out, informed sources.

Meanwhile, Dr P C Jaffer, commissioner of public instruction informed that the second PU examination that started on March 1, had got over on March 18. SSLC examination, which will start on March 21 and will end on April 4. The evaluation of the answer papers of second PU will start from March 25 and that of SSLC from April 10.
