LS polls: Former Union Minister Srinivas Prasad announces his candidature from Ch’nagar

Chamarajanagar: Former Union Minister and BJP State Vice President, on Monday, March 18 informed that he would be contesting Lok Sabha polls from Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha seat (SC Reserved) on a BJP ticket.
Addressing pressperson he said that he was away from the election politics for last two years, but now due to pressure from the workers and followers he has agreed to contest Lok Sabha polls.
“First time in the history a national party had joined hands with other parties to defeat BJP. There is a Modi wave in the country and the BJP will be re-elected,” he said.
Srinivas Prasad had represented Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha seats for five times and had also served as Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee cabinet. While the current MP Dhruvanarayan was elected twice from the constituency and this is his third contest from the same seat.
