BJP-free Mandya soon: Kumaraswamy

Mandya: Post the elections, Mandya will be made a BJP-free district, said Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy o Sunday March 24th.

Addressing reporters the CM said, “Many including BJP have joined hands to defeat Nikhil. No matter their tactics, Nikhil’s victory cannot be prevented. The people of all the taluks in Mandya have voted for Kumaraswamy and I’m confident that they will not let down my son. Soon, Mandya district would be made BJP-free,” he assured.

Responding to Congress leader N Chaluvarayaswamy’s support to Sumalatha, the CM said, “ It is his choice to support Nikhil. We are not going to be affected by the backstabbing. JD(S) workers will work for the victory of Congress candidates in all the 20 constituencies in the state. Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy will not get disturbed by cunning and dishonest politics. I have the power of my party workers. I have already directed the party workers and leaders to refrain from personal attack on the opponent,” he explained.
