“Gandhada Kudi” releases today

Mangaluru: Created under the Invenger Technologies banner and produced by K Satyendra Pai and K Krishna Mohan Pai, “Gandhada Kudi” (Chandan Van in Hindi) will be released statewide on March 29th, informed producer Satyendra Pai at a press meet.

“The movie has not only won awards in India but also in 20 other countries including San Diego (USA), Mexico and Chile. It has garnered appreciation from technicians and is added into the list of the world’s finest movies,” he said.

“The movie has been directed in a unique way by Santosh Shetty Kateel who works as an assistant director in Bollywood. But his tragic untimely death just before the release of the movie has hurt us all,” he said.

“Mumbai’s Nidhi Sanjeeva Shetty and Indian origin Americans Keisha, Ashlin, Pranati, Vignesh, Sherisha and Shreyas have acted in the movie. Senior actor Ramesh bhat, Jyothi Rai, Arvind Shetty Kojakolli, Deepak Shetty, Yogish Kotiyan and J P Bhat have also acted in the movie. Sachin Shetty and Laxmish Shetty (steady camera) have done the cinematography, editing is by Raviraj Ganiga, art direction is by Pradeep Rai and Preeta Menezes is the assistant director,” he informed.

The movie has altogether 4 songs and the lyrics are by Razak Puttur, who has also penned the dialogues. The music for the movie has been produced by Prasad K Shetty.

“The film which has commercial touch uncovering the global impact in stages due to destruction of Western Ghats is enriched by technology. The efforts of director who sends a serious message through children by comedy can be seen in the film. The film has stunning story, simple portrayal and effective acting by senior and junior artistes, background music, and beautiful locations selected for shooting. The film holds the concentration of the audience from beginning till the end,” he explained.
