Mangaluru: ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign was inaugurated by Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar at BJP election office at Bunts Hostel on Sunday, March 31.
The interaction programme with Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conference as part of ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign was viewed by scores of people on the big screen installed at BJP’s election office near Bunts Hostel.
Speaking on the occasion Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar said, “We should strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by supporting BJP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Now it is up to people to decide whether they want leader who gave a stern reply to the terrorists or to those leaders who bow to terrorist activities.”
“Every leader has come together to stop Prime Minister Modi from coming back to power through Mahagatbandan. The greed of power has made the leaders come together and there is no any other reason behind their unity,” he added.
The video conference was set up at 500 locations across the country. A large number of people gathered to witness Modi’s video conference here. But no chance was provided to the audience to interact with Modi during the programme.
