People who don’t have ability to fight elections are harassing officials: HDK

Tumkur: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Monday targetting Sumalatha, an Independent candidate from Mandya Lok Sabha seat said that people who do not have the ability to fight the elections are harassing the officials.
Kumaraswamy who was campaigning for JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda here addressing presspersons said that there are few people who do not have the ability to fight the elections, therefore they are accusing the officials.
When asked about his opinion in the Sumalatha’s allegations against him of misusing his office he questioned: ” Why should I answer to the charges made on the election process?”
BJP leaders like Madhuswamy, G S Basavaraju and Suresh Gowda, who keep questioning about HD Deve Gowda’s contribution were not even born when Gowda had launched struggle in the early 1960s against the excessive release of Cauvery river water to Tamil Nadu, he added.
