JDS vice president of Thirthahalli Taluk quits party

Shivamoogga: A day before Janata Dal (Secular) candidate Madhu Bangarappa is slated to file nomination papers to contest Lok Sabha polls from Shivamogga Lok Sabha seat JDS vice president of Thirthahalli Taluk R Madan, resigned from the post and quit JDS party Tuesday, April 2.

Addressing presspersons Madan with this regard he said that his decision to resign from the post was taken after discussions with the district president.

He further added that the workers who built the party, have been removed from their respective posts. Now everyone has been removed including him saying that we are no longer useful workers of the party.

However, Madan said that he will remain neutral and not work for the party in the ensuing elections.
