Election: Special train from B’luru to Karavali

Kundapur: A special train time-table has been released for travel on the night before the Election Day from Bengaluru to Karavali.

In the backdrop of private buses drastically increasing their charges, the Election Commission directed KSRTC and South Western Railways (SWR) Department to give attention towards providing convenient transport options for voters working out station.

Hence the SWR is running a special train named Tatkal Special from Bengaluru to Mangaluru, Udupi and Karwar. The train will commence its journey from Yeswanthpur station in Bengaluru at 10 pm on April 17th. It will reach Karwar on April 18th at 3:30 pm in the afternoon. It will again commence its return journey from Karwar in the evening at 6 pm and reach Bengaluru on Friday at 10:35 am in the morning.
