Elderly woman killed, two injured after being hit by car

Mangaluru: An elderly woman died on the spot and two others sustained injuries after being hit by a car at Adyar in the wee hours of Tuesday, April 16.
Meenakshi,55, a resident of Valachil in Adyar is the deceased person. The injured are identified as Geetha(50) and Gauthami(22).
As per reports a car moving towards Bantwal ran into the women, who were returning after attending Adyar temple jathra at around 2 am, after its driver lost control of the vehicle.
Kankanady city traffic police registered a case.
