Election awareness: Police take our route march at Somwarpet

Somwarpet: In the backdrop of Lok Sabha election and with the aim to spread election awareness amongst the public, a route march was taken out in the town by the police along with the Border Security Force (BSF).

The route march which was taken out with the aim to spread awareness on election and to distance any fear amongst the people included BSF soldiers, a platoon of KSRP, District Armed Reserve Police, local police and a total staff of 120 armed personnel.

The route march proceeded via Kakkehole, Manasa hall road, C K Subbayya road, Puttappa Circle, Madikeri road, Ambedkar Circle, maid road, private bus stand, JC stage to the police station.
