3-yr-old killed after neck gets stuck in car window

Hassan/Tumkuru: In a tragic incident a three-year-old boy lost his life after his neck got stuck in a car window at Doddaginni village in Channarayapatna taluk on Wednesday.

The victim has been identified as Rathan, son of Naveen Kumar and Indrani, residents of Tumkuru district.

Rathan, along with his parents, was on a visit to his mother’s village and had gone out for a drive with his uncle Umesh.

The mishap took place when his uncle got down from the car while the boy remained inside. As per the Channarayapatna Town police, the power windows of the car was raised when Rathan accidentally pressed the door lock button while he stuck his head out of the car.

His uncle rushed Rathan to Channarayapatna Taluk Hospital where he passed away later.
