Always be prepared: Coastal Security Police

Udupi: With the terror situations rising in the recent days, the Coastal Security Police (CSP) have increased their vigilance. In this backdrop Internal Security Division (ISD) DGP A M Prasad and Pratap Reddy visited Udupi district and conducted inspections.

They conducted patrolling on the coastal sea on an interceptor boat. In the backdrop of the suicide attack in Sri Lanka by terrorists, the Coastal Security Police have beefed up security from Mangaluru to Karwar. He has directed them to start patrolling at certain locations along the coast and to be prepared for any emergency situation.

CSP Superintendent N T Pramod Rao, DySP Praveen H Nayak and the station officers of all the 9 CSP stations were present.
