Karavali may get rain for three days

Mangaluru: The weather department has informed that normal to good rainfall may be experienced in the state’s southern interiors, coast and the malnad regions for three days from April 29th as result of the cyclone ‘Fani’ in Bay of Bengal.
“Fani” cyclone is expected to intensify in the next 24 hours. By April 30th it will have become a strong cyclone. Later, its intensity will drop gradually.
Due to this cyclone, good rain is expected on April 29, 30 along the coasts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and on April 30th and May 1st along the coast of Andhra Pradesh. There is also a possibility that the sea will turn violent at some areas.
On this occasion, the wind along the state’s coast is expected to grow stronger and around 20-30mm of rain may be expected. For three days, the sea is expected to remain unruly.
