Two students dead, three injured after car hits tree

Bengaluru: Two students died and three others were injured after the car they were travelling in rammed into a tree on Monday.

The deceased are identified as Kiran (18) and Trinesh (20), both residents of Turuvekere Taluk.

The other three students who sustained serious injuries are undergoing treatment at a hospital, informed sources.

The accident took place when the five students were on their way to appear for their CET exams. The driver lost control over the vehicle and rammed into a tree nearby, as the result both Kiran and Trinesh succumbed to their injuries on the spot while the other three sustained serious injuries.

A case with this regard has been registered with the KB Cross Police Station.
