Transformer at jattu makki - Aidu Mudi

Basrur: Along the road to Kartikeya temple at Ulluru, after Kolkere, there is a road about 1,000 mt long from Jattu Makki to Aidu Mudi area which is surrounded by 40 to 50 houses which have remained in perpetual low voltage.

This low voltage problem has persisted since 15 years and the power lines hanging along the electricity poles have remained as two wires. Due to the low voltage problem here, no proper household goods can be used here.

The villagers have continuously contacted Mesom and urged them to solve the problem, but every time the answer has been that there is a lack of funds. Other than claiming to solve the load shedding problem as soon as there is a grant, they have failed to come forward with any other form of relief. The villagers wonder for how any more years they will have to suffer this problem.
