50 students fall ill after consuming hostel food

Bengaluru: Nearly 50 students of ‘Asmitha’ women’s hostel of the Kannada University were hospitalised following complaints of stomach ache and uneasiness after consuming hostel food.
Shortly after consuming dinner, on Monday night, the students began complaining of stomach ache and were rushed to the nearby hospitals. Their condition was stated to be out of danger.
Officials from district health department visited the hospital and enquired into the incident.
A probe has been ordered into the matter.
